More tables and generators!


This big update introduces 1 new rule and adds more tables to make solo play as well as adventure generation easier.

Ship Rules

Ops are usually dropped off and picked up for their mission. Those who may use Galactic Ops for a space western game will need some ship rules. The rules provided are very lite, but give enough guidance for using ships in the context of the game.

Character Tables

I received some great feedback asking for gear tables and quirks. Added!

Creating Enemies

Enemies in Galactic Ops are pretty easy to think up on the fly. Sometimes you want an enemy with a little more depth. The updated enemies section provides some guidance on how to bring some depth and nuance to enemies.

Alien Generator

To go with the guidance on creating enemies is a new alien generator. Quickly follow the procedure to create a unique alien. The procedure includes everything from a name, to a unique ability, tactics, and weapon ideas. This procedure is intended to give you a rough outline, then you can use the results as-is or expand on them.

Planet Generator

Similar to the alien generator, the planet generator is a quick procedure that provides key details about the planet that you can use as-is or expand on. This helps bring a little more detail to the locations the ops visit.

Sample Rolls

I added a section which provides sample rolls explaining how to handle different scenarios. They provide a good overview of how the Pay the Price system works and should make it easier to pick up this game and get started with minimal prep.

Oracles

The game now includes a simple yes/no oracle and d66 tables of Adjectives, Themes, and Actions. There's just enough here to provide sparks for solo players or facilitators running the game.
