Welcome To Silverfort

Silverfort is the last settlement before the untamed wilderness. Originally established as a mining outpost when silver was discovered in the nearby hills, it has evolved into a crucial waypoint for those brave souls who venture beyond the boundaries of the known.

Beyond the circular wooden palisade lies the vast, unexplored wilderness known locally as the Silvermist Wilds. This ancient forest is rumored to hold forgotten ruins, strange creatures, and natural wonders.

Silverfort has also become a safe trading post for denizens of the Wilds. There's a common understanding which treats Silverfort as neutral territory for the most part. Truly malevolent entities rarely participate in trade. Others who do temporarily set aside their disagreements when at the post. Tensions can run high, however, it is understood grievances are not to be settled here.

A mining collective sent some prospectors to evaluate a rumored vein of silver in the mountains NE of Silverfort. They were due back 4 days ago and have yet to return. They are looking for a group of adventurers to find them, the information they gathered, and return it to Silverfort.
