New Rules & Layout Changes


This update includes some layout changes to make room for the 2 new rules that you can choose to use in your games.

Challenging Tests

Sometimes a single roll for a monumental task doesn't really make sense. This update includes a simple rule I call 3 before 3. You ask the player to make 3 successful rolls before 3 failure rolls. This simulates the effort it takes to complete the task. It sounds like it would succeed more than not, but that really isn't the case. Also, it builds tension when the player is sitting on 2 success and 2 failures and needs to roll 1 more time.

Loot

This game doesn't track individual coins or provide a detailed list of equipment and their cost. This update includes a new rule for tracking Loot. Things characters find that can increase their wealth but they don't have to track every coin or gem they find (unless they want to). Referees hand out loot points at the end of the adventure/session. Characters can then use their loot points when they need to get something that is crazy expensive.
