I'm pleased to announce the newly released Gield: A Norse Setting and Rules for Heroic Tales.

This has been in the works for a while. It started out as a stand alone game, but after testing and a lot of iterations, it evolved into a setting for Heroic Tales. It just made sense.

Some of what you'll find in Gield:

• Rich description of the world including the gods, clans, climate, land, sea, faerie, and ancients. 
• There's also a map of a subsection of an archipelago in Gield which includes towns, descriptions, key NPCs and adventure hooks.
• Setting specific character roles
• Character tables for names, physical detail, appearance, and mannerism
• Other tables for gear, clan names, faerie details
• Rules for using Rune Magic
• Rules for blood feuds
• Stats for 9 faerie
• A faerie generator so you can create new and unique faerie for your adventures
• A new Gield specific character sheet
