Pay The Price

This is a super simple RPG in which the story always advances, even when the characters fail a roll, but on a failure they must Pay The Price. The story is always moving forward, but at what cost? 

There are 2 (ok, maybe 3 depending on how the Facilitator wants to run it) outcomes: Success, or Partial Success. When there is a Partial Success, the character reduces one of their attribute points and a narrative cost is applied as well. This is a mind shift, and it took a while to get used to a failed roll not being a failure. 

It works really well for solo games. It is being tested for group play, and honestly, that is where most of the improvements have come from.
